I've been using SN Systems tools since PSOne®. IOP programming started with PlayStation®2 and from the beginning ProDG supported this, which was good news for the few IOP programmers around at the time. I quickly bought the tools and started using them, and though you would think there were hardly any users of the IOP, SN responded quickly to any problems and requests I had on the IOP side.
What really helped was the speed of their support - it was so quick that I hardly noticed the time difference. I think this is down to the well-structured Japanese support system as well as the enthusiasm of the toolmakers themselves.
ProDG for PSP is SN Systems' suite of fully featured tools that enable you to build and debug your PSP titles.
ProDG for PSP now includes v2.0 debugger, SNC and Tuner as standard.
SN Systems is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCEI) and has been developing industry standard game development tools for nearly 20 years. The recent acquisition by SCEI has provided SN Systems staff with much closer access to the PlayStation® platforms than ever before and resulted in improved integration and highly optimized software. SN Systems' staff now work directly with SCE group hardware and software platform engineers worldwide, sharing and building upon their expertise in order to further enhance the game development experience.
SN Systems development tools have been successful across all the PlayStation platforms and, as a result, game development studios around the world use the products on a daily basis. One of the reasons for SN Systems' success stems from the ability to listen to feedback from developers and react quickly. Each product in the tools suite evolves over time as game developers request new features during their game title process. Coupled with a support team that is renowned in the industry for its response time and depth of knowledge, it's easy to see why so many studios look no further than SN Systems for their game title development.
