Testimonial

The ProDG debugger has come a long way and is easier to use and more powerful than ever; its integrated profiling is great for quick performance spot-checks.

When you need the heavy iron, Tuner can analyze the entire machine's performance across many frames of data, and is in my experience simpler to use and understand than the Performance Analyzer hardware.

Adding dedicated licenses to CLM

There are two ways import your dedicated license to CLM:

Either

  • Use drag-and-drop to copy the license file from Windows Explorer or an SN Systems e-mail to the CLM main window

or

  • Use the I want to... Import a Dedicated License from disk option at the foot of the main CLM window. See below for instructions.
  1. Click on the option "Import a Dedicated License from disk" at the foot of the main CLM window.

The Import License Wizard will be displayed, similar to the following:

    Import License Wizard screen

  2. In the License File field, enter the name of the license file to be imported, or click the browse button to navigate to the file.

  3. Click Next.

License files will be imported into CLM provided they are valid license files and have not already expired. Any matching license already in CLM but with a nearer expiry date will be automatically replaced, otherwise the following message is displayed:

    Overwrite license warning screen

Click Yes to overwrite the existing license, or No to leave the existing license.

If the license file is invalid or has expired, then a message may be displayed from the following list:

    • The license file has an invalid size
    • This is not a valid license file
    • This license has expired
If CLM indicates that the license file has an invalid size, then you have probably tried to import the wrong file.

An invalid license file may have an incorrect header, or lack encrypted data or have an incorrect checksum. More detailed information is output to the debug log file.

If your license has expired, you can renew it by using the "I want to...Renew an existing Dedicated License with SN Systems" option (see "Renew an existing Dedicated License with SN Systems").
